President, Partner & Co-Founder Ken founded Legacy Barrel Services, LLC in January 2022 after serving as Managing Director for a local financing firm. With over 33 years of experience in the wine industry, including roles at Barrel Builders, Canton Cooperage, and Tonnellerie Boutes, Ken brings extensive expertise in finance and equipment leasing. His focus is on helping clients optimize cash flow effectively.
Melanie Wilson

Partner & Co-Founder
Before co-founding Legacy Barrel Services, Melanie was the General Manager of Oakford Vineyards and owner her own label, MW Wines. She has almost 30 years of experience working in sales, distribution, and hospitality; and is a Sonoma State’s Wine MBA program graduate. She is a seasoned expert in logistics, operations, and finance; and uses her vast experience to help our clients uncork the hidden wealth in every barrel aging facility.
Lou Garcia
Chief Financial Officer

Lou brings several lifetimes of experience to his role as CFO at Legacy Barrel Services. His wine industry experience includes CFO at Hall wines, General Manager and CFO for Frank Johnson Vineyards and Roshambo Winery. He also owns his own California winery, Stover Oaks. He has advised wineries for years about sound financial practices and shares his expertise with our clients every day.
Susan Bouwer
Operations & Cooper Relationship Manager
With a vast and varied background in the wine industry and community building, Susan manages Cooper Relationships, Operations and Transactions at Legacy Barrel Services. Her overarching mission is to promptly and attentively address vendors' inquiries and needs, and to transact lease documentation with skill and precision. She strives to cultivate a harmonious and responsive business atmosphere, ensuring an elevated experience for our vendors and the clients we serve.
Savannah Couldwell
Client Relationship Manager
Savannah brings 15 years of client and administrative experience in the wine industry. Her background has equipped her with a deep understanding of client relations and exceptional service delivery. She has excelled in roles such as DTC Coordinator at Trefethen Family Vineyards and Membership Coordinator at JCB Collection. At Legacy Barrel Services, her commitment to building strong relationships and delivering excellence ensures clients receive top-tier service and support.
